Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale (the “Terms”) govern every order placed with Peptide Pappa (“Peptide Pappa”, “we”, “us”), through peptidepappa.com or by any other means. By creating an account, confirming researcher access, placing an order or accepting delivery you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not order.

1. Research use only

Every product we sell is a research chemical supplied solely for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified researchers, laboratories and businesses. Our products are not drugs, medicines, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices. They have not been evaluated or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration or any other regulator for any use. They are not for human or animal consumption, administration, injection or topical use, and not for diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation or prevention of any disease or condition. Nothing on this website, in our emails or in our documents is medical, veterinary or dosing advice, and no statement by us may be read as an invitation to use a product in or on a person or animal.

2. Who may buy

You may buy only if all of the following are true, and by ordering you represent and warrant that they are:

  • you are at least 21 years old;
  • you are a qualified researcher, a laboratory, a research institution or a business buying for laboratory research, or you act with the authority of one;
  • you will use the products only for lawful in-vitro research in a suitable facility, handled by trained personnel;
  • you will not administer the products to any person or animal, nor sell, give or otherwise supply them to anyone for that purpose;
  • buying, importing, possessing and using the products is lawful where you are, and you hold any licence, permit or registration that your jurisdiction requires;
  • the information you give us is accurate and you will keep it current.

We may ask for evidence of any of the above before or after accepting an order, and we may refuse, cancel or suspend any order or account where we are not satisfied, without liability.

3. Your account and access confirmation

Ordering requires an account. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your password secret. Access to the catalogue is granted only after you confirm the research-use terms, and we keep a record of that confirmation (date, email, field of research, IP address and browser) as evidence of your representations. Each order repeats that confirmation at checkout.

4. Products, specifications and certificates of analysis

Products are supplied as described on the price list: lyophilised peptide in sealed vials, sold by the kit of ten vials unless stated. Stated quantities are nominal fill amounts per vial. Each production lot carries a lot number, printed on the invoice and available on the lot’s certificate page, and a certificate of analysis showing the purity result and method for that lot. Certificates describe the lot as tested at the time of testing; they are not a warranty of fitness for any purpose and do not change Section 1.

5. Purity guarantee

We guarantee that every lot we ship tested at 98.99% purity or higher by the method shown on its certificate. If an accredited independent laboratory, testing an unopened vial from your order under documented chain of custody, reports purity below 98.99% by a comparable validated method, tell us within 30 days of delivery with the full report. If we confirm the finding we will, at our choice, replace the affected product or refund what you paid for it. This is the sole remedy under the guarantee. The guarantee does not cover product that was stored, reconstituted or handled outside our storage instructions, or results from non-validated methods.

6. Orders, prices and payment

  • Prices are in United States dollars, exclusive of any duties, taxes or import charges, and may change without notice. The price shown when you place an order applies to that order.
  • Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods; we may decline or cancel any order before dispatch for any reason, including suspected unlawful use, a pricing or stock error, or a failed compliance check, and will refund any payment taken.
  • Payment is due in full before dispatch by the methods offered at checkout (for example bank transfer or cryptocurrency). Bank transfers must arrive in full; the payer bears bank charges. Cryptocurrency payments are final once confirmed on the network and are refunded, where due, in the same asset or in dollars at our choice.
  • Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal on a delivered order is a breach of these Terms. We may recover the amount, our costs and reasonable fees, and close the account.
  • There is no minimum order.

7. Vial labels

At checkout you choose whether your vials ship blank or with Peptide Pappa labels; there is no charge either way. Our labels identify the product, the nominal quantity and the research-use-only status and carry no instructions for use. We do not print or apply customer artwork. Whatever you later affix to a vial is your responsibility and must comply with the laws that apply to you; it may not state or imply that a product is for human or animal use, is a drug, a supplement or a cosmetic, or is approved by any regulator.

8. Shipping, insurance and risk

  • We ship worldwide with express carriers. Shipping is charged as one flat amount per order, shown at checkout, whatever the quantity ordered. Dispatch and transit times on the website are estimates, not promises; delays in transit or customs do not entitle you to cancel.
  • Every shipment is insured by us against loss in transit. If a shipment is lost, seized or returned by the carrier or customs and never reaches you, we will reship it once at no charge, provided you give us the carrier’s or authority’s written confirmation of the loss, seizure or return within 14 days of the event. A second loss on the same order is at your risk. Shipments to an address you gave incorrectly, refused deliveries and deliveries signed for at your address are not covered.
  • Title passes on full payment; risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you gave.
  • Inspect your order on arrival and report damage, shortages or wrong items to us within 7 days of delivery with photographs. We will replace or refund confirmed problems.

9. Customs, import and local law

You are the importer of record. You are responsible for knowing whether the products may be imported, possessed and used where you are, for obtaining any permit, and for paying any duty, tax, brokerage or storage charge levied on arrival. We will declare shipments accurately as research chemicals and will not misdescribe or undervalue goods on request. We may decline to ship to any destination. If goods are seized because the import was unlawful where you are, Section 8 does not apply and no refund is due.

10. Returns and refunds

Because our products are temperature- and contamination-sensitive, we do not accept returns of products once dispatched, except where we have sent the wrong item or a damaged item, in which case we will tell you whether to return it at our cost. Refunds we agree to are made to the original payment method within 14 days of our confirmation. Nothing in this Section limits the remedies in Sections 5 and 8.

11. Storage, handling and safety

Lyophilised peptides must be stored as instructed on the price list and certificate, normally refrigerated or frozen, dry and away from light, and handled by trained personnel with suitable personal protective equipment in a laboratory setting. Safety data sheets are available on request. You are responsible for safe handling, storage and disposal in accordance with the laws that apply to you.

12. Prohibited conduct

You must not: use or supply any product for human or animal use; represent any product as a drug, supplement, cosmetic or approved product; resell to anyone who cannot make the representations in Section 2; use the website to break any law; interfere with the website’s operation or security; or scrape, copy or republish our content, prices or certificates without permission. Breach entitles us to cancel orders, close your account and report the matter to the authorities.

13. Intellectual property and website

The website, its text, images, video, price list, certificates and software are owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may view them for the purpose of buying from us and for no other purpose. The website is provided “as is”; we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

14. Privacy

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the express guarantee in Section 5, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the products and the website are supplied without any warranty, condition or representation of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or results. We make no representation about the suitability, safety or legality of any product for any use other than in-vitro research by qualified persons.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profit, revenue, data, research or business, however arising; (b) we are not liable for any injury, illness, death, property damage or regulatory penalty arising from any use of a product in or on a person or animal, or from any use contrary to these Terms; and (c) our total liability for all claims relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

17. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Peptide Pappa, its owners, officers, employees, agents and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, damages, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or connected with your breach of these Terms, your use of any product, any use of a product by anyone who obtained it from you, any label or marking you apply to a product, or your breach of any law.

18. Compliance records and cooperation

We keep records of access confirmations, orders, payments and shipments for as long as the law and our legitimate interests require, and we may disclose them to carriers, payment providers, regulators, customs authorities or law enforcement where we believe in good faith that the law requires it or that a product is being misused.

19. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, and cancel any open order, at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, given false information or used a product unlawfully. Sections 1, 2, 9, 12 and 15 to 22 survive termination.

20. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier or customs delays, regulatory action, supplier failure, strikes, epidemics, war, natural disaster or failure of networks or payment systems.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and every order are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere. Before starting proceedings you agree to write to us at support@peptidepappa.com and to try in good faith for 30 days to resolve the matter. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought individually and within one year of the event giving rise to it. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

22. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the order confirmation are the entire agreement between us for each order and replace any earlier terms. If any part is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the part is read down to the extent needed. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights; we may assign ours. Notices and documents may be sent to you electronically at the email on your account. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the new version here; the version in force when you place an order governs that order.
